A quick one before I take some time off for the Christmas break.

If you guys have been following my advice, you already have an AwardWallet account to keep track of your points and miles.  You may have also already signed up for the Pro account for the very reasonable price of $10 USD/year.  If you haven’t you might want to consider doing so now.

The Plus version allows you to keep track of more expiry dates, additional benefits of your membership like any free night certificates you may have, as well as the historical balances of your accounts.

Currently the Plus membership is $10/year but it will be going up to $30/year as of February 1, 2017.  If you purchase your Plus membership prior to February 1st, 2017, you will be grandfathered in for the $10/year price as long as you keep the status going forward.

The exact wording from AwardWallet is as follows:

The good news is that we are grandfathering anyone who has ever paid for AwardWallet Plus before February 1, 2017, and who maintains an AwardWallet Plus subscription going forward. According to our records, you have paid to upgrade your account to AwardWallet Plus, and you have an AwardWallet Plus account right now.
By keeping your account at the AwardWallet Plus tier, you’ll enjoy the service for $10 per year.

As you can see, as a current Plus subscriber, I have access to the $10 pricing.  I would suggest you subscribe to lock in your price.  It’s an excellent service and has never failed me.

Hat Tip to Matt from A Whistle and A Light for the heads up.
