** UPDATE 05/01/17 **
I have been advised by an MBNA CSR that the Alaska Airlines World Elite card should be back on the site by the end of the day.  They have been having some technical issues so the original date that the card was supposed to be back online (March 31, 2017) has now been pushed back to the end of today.

In my previous post, an MBNA agent advised me that the Alaska Airlines World Elite Mastercard would be back online today but when I checked, it still wasn’t available … so I dug in.

Long story short, the card is still available but it looks like they are still updating the website to reflect the new changes that I covered in my previous post.

My advice for those looking to get the card is to wait until it is updated online and make sure the Great Canadian Rebate offer is back before you apply.  Using the Great Canadian Rebates offer, you will receive $60 cash back upon approval so your $75 annual fee with the card is now effectively reduced to $15 … which is a pretty amazing amount to pay for 25,000 Alaska Airlines Miles.

If you want more information on the MBNA World Elite Mastercard, please refer to my review of the card.
