I’m an AVGeek and love everything that involves air travel.  From the logistics of moving a bag around the world to the aeronautics involved with the A380, I love it all.

PBS has produced a new 3 hour series that takes you behind the scenes of air travel and I’m looking very forward to watching it.

Here’s the synopsis from PBS:

At any one time, there are a million people airborne somewhere in the world. That equates to an entire airborne city – a city in the sky. So what does it take to run a ‘city’ at 30,000 feet? In this series, we set off around the world to uncover the invisible global networks and complex logistics that make it all possible.

Here’s a sample of the stuff you’ll see in the series:

The series starts on February 8th at 10PM EST / 7PM PST. Check your local listings.
