On occasion we get so engrossed with the art of Travel Hacking that we sometimes lose track of what the end goal is … travel. That’s why during my upcoming trip in December, I’ll be bringing you inside the veil and showing you some of the interesting things that you might want to consider doing while on vacation but what if you want information about destinations outside of where PointsNerd travels?

Well, to help with that dilemma, PointsNerd will be traveling to New York for the largest travel convention in North America, the New York Times Travel Show, to see what else the world has to offer.

What is the NYT Travel Show?

The New York Times Travel Show is the largest and longest running travel show in North America and boasted over 30,000 attendees in 2017 including over 560 exhibitors that represented over 170 countries. 2018 will be the show’s 15th anniversary and should be the biggest show yet.

What You’ll See

Being that this is my first time attending the show, I don’t know exactly what to expect but what I hope to bring you is some inspiration for your next travel experience. I intend on interviewing exhibitors on camera and hopefully edit it down to nice bite sized chunks for easy consumption.

I also personally hope to broaden my horizons for travel to countries that are not currently on my radar and I’m also hoping to pick up a trick or two along the way that I can pass onto you. In any case, I’m excited to bring new and exciting stories to PointsNerd readers while also keeping you up to date on how to travel to these destinations in luxury for pennies on the dollar.
